Rated 4 out of 5 by from Used Turbo Tax for many years I have used Turbo Tax for over 20 years with excellent results and no audits. I love that it walks me through every possible question to see what tax situations apply. Then I automatically see the amount I get as my refund and can file online. My only issue is that I purchased my copy via email special offer, and it was a download and was not recognized as the same as using it straight online. It really didn't matter, but it was strange because last year I didn't realize this and filled out my taxes online. When I got to the end, it asked me to pay for Turbo Tax when I already had! So...I just had to go to the downloaded copy and resubmit the information and not use the online version. It all worked out in the end, but that is strange. It seems like the download or the online version would both be recognized as purchased. I actually do have one more complaint, but it may be a state requirement and not Turbo Tax specifically. With the copy I purchased, one state return is included. But when I filed, I was still asked to pay $25 + tax for filing. That too seems off. Otherwise, very good product that I trust for the reasons stated initially.

I worked in compliance at one of the largest accounting firms in the world for for 8 years before going to a law firm as a tax attorney. I have used Turbotax since its inception. It is an incredible program and gets better every year. It is amazing how it handles the complexity of the Internal Revenue Code so expertly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax Tames the Tax Nightmare TurboTax does an excellent job of taking the governments piles of forms, entry blocks, special schedules, etc. and making it an easy question and answer project. I used TurboTax for years and plan on continuing.
