Rated 3 out of 5 by from Seems Too Expensive Only taking the standard deduction, but having to pay $ for Premier because of an investment account seems pricey just to import additional data into the form. There did seem to be less bugs getting thru forms compared to 2021. On a side note, neither of my two valid discounts were applied. Working with support to get this resolved, but not that hopeful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax made it easy! Turbo Tax made it fast and easy!! Our only hiccup was that our bank added two zeros for our interest.... we did not make over 20 k in interest! Look over your numbers for EVERYTHING. Otherwise, we did wayyyy less work than the two years previous because TurboTax saved everything from last year! It only took 65 minutes to complete.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax is great for complex tax returns I've used TurboTax every year and have generally been more than happy with it. It has been getting better and more user friendly each year. My taxes are relatively complex, involving self-employed income, W-2's, foreign income, domestic income from multiple states, investments, real-estate properties and rental income, but I'm usually able to get through my taxes within around 5 hrs or so with Turbo Tax. I actually think it saves me time relative to going to a tax professional. It does have some warts -- it is excessively cautious at the very end, and there are far too many pointless and repetitive final steps before it actually does the e-filing (why should I have to enter my username/password back to back multiple times?). But on the whole it appears to be the best there is.
