Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is the only way to go I am a long-time user of TurboTax. I don't always like the outcome, but the simplicity of handling otherwise arduous tasks makes even the increasing price of the software worth it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from should not have paid for georgia state tax. exempt I am exempt to pay georgia state tax. Turbo should have know and say so. I guess they needed the $59.00 my state return is $0.00 amount.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from All good except for CA state e-filing I've used TTax every year since 2000. For the first time, I had a bad experience. I attempted to e-file the California non-resident return and it failed twice because of a problem with Form 3840 "Like Kind Exchanges". The TTax form stated that the property description fields must be left blank in order to e-file. However, when left blank, the fields were pink indicating errors and preventing the e-file. I called customer service to resolve the issue and, while she was gracious and professional, she left me with the only option of mailing the return. Of course, I was already charged by Intuit for the state e-file fee.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Premium Package walks you through everything I have a full time job that issues a W-2, but I am also an independent consultant and file under self-employment for these expenses. I enter my 1099-NEC and keep track of my expenses year round on a spread sheet, but I am grateful Turbo Tax helps break down where expenses and deductions get plugged in and what all can be claimed. It is only my second year claiming my self-employment business, but I know I can rely on Turbo Tax to help me maximize my return year to year.
