I used the the full basic service last year, and it was mostly a good experience. This year though, a professional named Gregory - this is the man right here! If you get him - you are in luck!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax worked well You'd make it easier if you had the entry page jump back to where the last entry occurred. Also, fill in the blanks on the tax return form easier so it shows completed task.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 2021 TurboTax was sub-par This year's turbotax was sub-par. It was not able to import 1099 forms from vanguard. The error message told me to call vanguard to get it fixed. Seriously? I paid for turbo tax and I was responsible for fixing your errors (whomever to blame, intuit or vanguard)? But what's worse is that it didn't ask me anything about the advanced child credit during the walkthrough. Luckily I looked it up online because I was wondering what to do with these ACC payments and letters I received, and had to go back and redo one section, and ended up saving an addition 2k of credits. So much for the best tax claim. TurboTax needs to put its act together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lifesaver Last year I'll be using Premier level. Sold a rental two years ago. Still had some carryovers. This year had large lump sum payment from Social Security Disability. Both were hard to figure out how to enter even with Turbo Tax. I feel that without the help, I NEVER would have been able to file without paying for professional help Thank you Turbo Tax.
