Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax Nickle and Dimes You! TurboTax is simple enough to use and explains tax situations. However, if you own your own business or have a side gig where you need 1099-NEC, then I would not recommend Turbotax. They charge you extra to make a very simple addition to your tax return. Also, the deluxe doesn't even include the state return. So I'm spending money just to file a simple 1099 and a state refund. I think this is my last year using TurboTax.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the job but you pay before and after :( It's a quick easy process for getting your taxes done, easy even for a beginner to use. Don't like that I have to pay for new software, either a download or disc, every year and then have to pay an additional fee to actually file the forms afterward as well. Shouldn't the cost of filing be included in the software payment?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Form 7203 Part 1 does not work! I have completed form 7203 correctly based on the K-1 I received. Part 1 3a Ordinary Income field will not accept 0 income? I am ready to e-file and stuck with paper filing again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax is so easy to use! Year after year, I keep using TurboTax because it is so easy and fast to use. It preloads all your personal information so you don't have to type it in again. It also makes it so easy to download your accounts from banks & investment firms so you don't have to type all that info too.
