Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great self-employment tax filing system Using turbo tax for self-employment was easier than I thought since this is the first year I am filing tax returns with self-employment income. I'm glad turbotax had this system because it is complicated to file self-employment taxes the first time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax stinks and makes errors Federal tax e-file was rejected. Says the AGI turbo tax computed last year doesn't match IRS records! Also, Turbotax did not allow a credit on Virginia Taxes for taxes paid to another state (never "asked the question" despite the fact that there were W-2s from multiple states entered. I had to go into "forms" view and create the proper virginia form myself. Turbotax almost cost me $1000 by making that error.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good software but VERY high processing fee The process was straight forward but the last step (submitting data to State) would cost $25 plus an additional $60 if I chose the fee to come from my refund. This was high-cost and, due in-part to its sneaky-ness, an overall disappointment and negative customer experience for me.
