Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really helpful; might need to pay I have used Turbotax for the past few years, and it's super helpful. For the most basic services, it is free. However, for most people, it will cost around $30. Given how much the site advertises the "free" part of their services, I reduced the overall rating to four stars. The software, itself, though, is five stars. That said, I find the expense worth it. I also appreciate how I can have my forms checked by their team and my refunds direct deposited into my account after. My whole family uses TurboTax and have never experienced any issues. I recommend it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from System driven communication flaws 1. Was canceled from the service without warning. 2. Had to start process over. Was hung up on before even saying hello for a scheduled meeting. 3. Called in to schedule another appointment. Never received call. 4. Called in to schedule another appointment and escalated to a Manager. Was not able to choose the Tax Preparer. The person I spoke with was extremely helpful, understood my tax needs, and I would’ve loved to have worked with her. Had to start the process again. 5. The manager left a message on my voicemail without leaving any contact information and I didn’t get a chance to report these technical problems. I ended up working with Beth who was wonderful and extremely helpful, in spite of all the system flaws she was able to get the job done and reached out to me when she needed something. Please look into these technical details. I’ve used this service for several years and would hate to have to go through this again. Please also leave an option to contact professionals reaching out to your customers.
