Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2 Reps who couldn't read messages. Talk about exhausting and not being attentive. These reps with over 38 years collective experience couldn't read a single message and keep up. It was really like pulling teeth to get anywhere.

I had a lot of questions to understand why I was being taxed in the way I was, and how I could try to improve my tax situation next year. Valerie was the Apple of My Eye when it comes to tax returns! The product itself could use some improvements when reviewing your tax return- I did not feel like the tool included enough details for me to understand the nuances of my return. Also pricey for what you get.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Payment issues with foreign addresses I continue to use turbotax bc I've been using them every year since before I moved from the states. Since I moved doing taxes has been especially frustrating for one reason in particular. TurboTax will not accept credit cards with a foreign billing address even if they are with a US financial institution. It is an ordeal every year to go through the payment process to get to be able to e-file. This year I seriously considered just paying someone state side to do my taxes for me but since I am self employed and do not get any documentation of my income from any other employers and TurboTax already has all my info, I figured it would be easier to just keep on doing TurboTax. But seriously, the payment issues are the bain of my existence every year. Please, TurboTax, just make it so people can enter foreign billing addresses for their credit cards. It doesn't have to be that hard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is a good tool to file my Income Taxes. Many of the panels where you asked for information were some what vague and not too clear about what information you were asking for. In past years I feel you did better in that department than this year. It may be that you do a better job in some of the more expensive versions than you did in Deluxe I don't know. I have used the other versions in past years. But when I really studied it out I could figure out what information you were wanting. So a little improvement in that department for next year would be nice. This is the first year I have used the "Ask a Question" feature in the software. I had a question about the "Kicker" that we get in Oregon. The answers were really good and explained very thoroughly and I really appreciated that. One improvement you could make to that feature would be to list the most recent answer at the top instead of the oldest answer at the top. The answer at the top pertained to a 2018 Return which was using information from 2017 so I was not too sure it was accurate. After some investigation I discovered there were 4 pages of answers and the answer with up to date information was at the bottom of the list. But I still gave you 5 stars for a good product that can be improved. Thanks for all the work you do !!!! Jerry

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax keeps my on track, simple, efficient! I love how this system guides you through, has pop up explanations when needed, saves your information as you go, and is delightfully happy while you proceed. Everyone needs encouragement to get taxes done!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from additional fee for state e file there is a fee for e-filing state taxes. the amount is higher than what it says. it says $20 but when you go to pay it the price is $25. there should not be a price at all when you have to buy the program.
