Rated 3 out of 5 by from TurboTax is a headache. TurboTax kept insisting that I enter a Form 2439 even though I didn't get one and don't need one. The package got into a loop and wouldn't let me continue. I finally had a CPA delete my imported 1099 and reenter the 1099 manually. If I have to get a CPA to help using the package, why bother with the package?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Appreciated Thoroughness but Confusing Very Thorough and asked every question possible, did not like the omission of the $40 fee for paying straight from your return. Was able to fix, but took time. Make sure you pay with your card instead of from your return to save $40

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fees continue to increase Turbo tax quotes one fee, but at the end of filing, you end up with all these other fees. I have been filing with turbo tax for 8 years and I have never been able to file a return "for free" like they advertise!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from One thing missing They didn't tell you that if you have never e-filed before, you should enter your last years AGI not as the one on line 11 from last year (which is the one they fill in for you) but as zero. Oh yes, and even though you are filing a joint return, that AGI has to be entered twice. Once for each of you. Try to get help on that! None of their help videos apply. I finally guessed what to and on my fourth try, it was accepted. That was after several hours of frustration. I am sure it would have taken only a few minutes if I was able to get a REAL person on the phone.
