Rated 3 out of 5 by from Transition from federal to state tax is cumbersome Due to the increase in the federal standard deduction less couples will be itemizing on their federal return. The transition from the federal standard deduction return to a state itemized return is cumbersome and overrides that should be available are not.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not easy to load and open software I had to install and uninstall several times, then change my display settings to get it to open. It is not very easy to find help on specific forms or where to enter certain info.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from unhappy Had original copy physical disc, would not let us use the 5th install. so then had to purchase BASIC version. Kept getting stuck when entering STATE information and got stuck in a loop where you get most of the way through getting STATE entered and then you are kicked back to the start, even after spending the $45 to file for state. I have now wasted the original $80 on the deluxe disc version, plus the additional $50 for the basic version, plus $45 for STATE which I haven't even been successful in filing yet!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax support is not helpful The Turbo Tax program will not allow me to refile the same return after being rejected due to AGI verification. There was nothing wrong with the original return so I'm not sure why it was rejected to began with but TurboTax will not allow me to retransmit the return it was me to buy a professional version instead.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don't E-File Some of the instructions suck they refer to a scheduled or line item but do not say federal or state or where to find the info. But the worst thing is I tried E-File for the first time and followed directions to the T. My E-File was rejected twice by the Feds. after supplying all correct info from my 2019 turbo tax forms. Now my return is late by 2 days, If I am penalized it will start a war.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Continuous rejections electronic submittal by IRS Unreliable product not recommended. Tax transmittal keep being rejected. Only resolution offered by Customer Service is "print and mail".
