Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible program that changes info w/o informing After I put in NY for the state of tax exempt interest, when I come back a few days later to finish, you change the state to AZ since that's where one of the fiduciary is located. Even though I don't have to file for AZ, you changed it and I didn't catch it. Now I need to pay WAY more than I should have and filing an amended return electronically is apparently not available even though you tell me I can. This program is horrible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Been using it for years It's a very good product. Way better than using a stubby pencil in the old days. Just needs a fix for printing out for filing. If you try to double side print it puts the "file by mail instructions" on the front side of page one of the 1040. So you always have to print out single sided. Have to use twice the paper. Should add in a blank page for this purpose.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My 2nd year...and I'm still happy!! I had two calls and one chat. One of the calls ended up requiring an expert. My calls came in, in less time than was expected. All three of the gals I spoke with were very helpful and they all made sure I understood and had my issue resolved before we ended the call. The chat...was another story. I suggest going with calls. (My rating below is for all three calls, not my chat) I am still learning some things, but for the most part...I am very happy with the results I am getting with TurboTax. I will continue to use their services. (Previously used H & R Block)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Effective, but should be free Capitalism has crafted an easy solution to filing your taxes, but there should be a cheaper option. Payed 187 for federal + 2 state returns. Take half my return why dontcha?
