Rated 2 out of 5 by from april is the cruelest month I don't enjoy using turbotax because there is literally no other option to file your taxes through, and the fees are ridiculous. It's easy to use though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use! I have used Turbo Tax before getting married and having dependents. So I was a little worried I wouldnt be able to understand and follow through with childcare, etc. Turbo Tax makes it super user friendly on every topic, deductions, expense, credit out there. I did follow our previous paperwork to understand each section. If everything is smooth sailing in getting our refund, I will be using next year for sure! If I were to complain about anything, it would be the time. Because it is every informative, going through each section and reviewing takes time. But you want to count every dollar. The system in general is great! Thank You Turbo Tax for being easy to use!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great help getting accurate filing I did not have Turbo Tax in 2020. I had an old 2010 laptop that would not manage the 2020 software. I completed the tax forms with fill in the blank forms online. I discovered I made two mistakes and had to file an amendment. I also did not have a smooth transition to 2021. I had to re-enter assets, depreciation and other long term info saved by Turbo Tax. I should have used online Turbo Tax. This has been the most difficult year to file taxes, since I had to hand enter all of my 2020 information. Plus info from my Turbo Tax in 2018 and 2019. When I got a new computer I reentered 2020 on Turbo Tax Software.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Took an hour to e-file because TT introduced error When I had gone through all the teeny little preparation steps for e-filing, TurboTax wanted me to change something in the deductions. When I attempted to work on it, Turbo Tax duplicated a deduction, puffing up the refund but making it illegal, and would NOT let me fix it. It took MORE than an hour to figure all this out and fix it and e-file. Also, TurboTax does not let me "search" for a term in the screen, so I can check things more easily. This means I have to deal with their tiny print with my weakening eyes, and I can't be sure I found everything I needed. And, Turbo Tax displays a vertically short form over a longer form, which induces me to click on "Save" on the form underneath instead of on the current (shorter) form, so nothing happens, but it's really confusing. This is my 25th year with Turbo Tax. I plan to try something else next year. (I said that last year, too, but just wait!)
