Rated 5 out of 5 by from the expert service was nice I like the expert service. I recommend anyone who knows nothing much about tax returns try that. My Expert was professional and responsible and the communication process was way easier than any tax agent I ever talked to.

It's not always clear and I have to do a lot of research myself many times on what things means or how to calculate the information to actually put in. Last year they didn't get some paperwork that should have been done and it was an extra several thousand in costs. Eventually I hope to find a CPA that is actually reliable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from State deductions need better clarifications I have used Turbo Tax for many years. I just found out this year that California allows deductions for mortgage interest that the federal IRS does not since 2018. This is not clear with Turbo Tax so I missed out using this deduction. There is an adjustment box to manually add an amount but no guidelines how to figure out that amount. So do you enter the total mortgage interest since only 10 K allowed by feds or do you subtract the 10k and enter the balance? Do you include property taxes also in that figure? It would greatly help to have the calculations clarified.
