Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor and part of an absurd racket Everything that TurboTax did I could have done myself without paying the fee. the one area I needed help was Schedule C - TurboTax was, naturally, little better than useless there and I ended up having to read IRS forms. The whole point of paying for a piece of software is not to have to do this.

Little things that bug me: after installing and doing the recent updates, the instructions say to 'click restart' to launch TT. It doesn't work and I have to go back to the icon on my desktop to open TT; does not allow me to enter LTC premiums to transfer to my State (WI) return because I do not itemize. Have to do this manually on the State efile website (which is why I do not efile my state return via TT - in addition to the additional cost).
