Rated 2 out of 5 by from Less friendly than last year When you click on ? for more information, the information page is sparse and written in a tiny font. Questions were hard for a non-fiduciary, often requiring us to "wing it." When we went to file after hours and hours of annoying tax questions, I hated my government and I hated TurboTax. When TurboTax software glitched at the time of clicking a button to finally file the freakin' tax forms, I threw my first temper tantrum in my life since age 3. It said my home office had to be under 300 square feet. I had entered 220 square feet. No matter what I changed it to, it kept recycling me to an error of the under 300 feet requirement. I couldn't finish the torturous, arduous never-ending task of e-filing my taxes, even though NY State requires e-filing. Checkmate. I went to bed, couldn't sleep, wondering what to do next. The next day, after rebooting my computer and updating TurboTax, I was finally able to e-file. I never remember TurboTax being fun, but I also never remember it being this frustrating and glitchy.
