Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than sliced bread. TurboTax is very thorough in handling most tax situations. I especially like to be able to switch between Step-By-Step and Forms views. Identifying the source for an entry is very helpful. It would be even more helpful if this feature were fully implemented in the state version so it would show the sources for Federal amounts.

Transfer from prior years use of product makes things easy, thank you, as well as the ability to e-link directly to respective info sources as needed. Wish charges for "Second State" not as prohibitive as $40 fee makes it; we only need Second State for a minimal filing on extended family rental property where are total tax amount due is usually in $35 range! One question I have every year is "How do I print a "Screen Shot" of the page within Turbo Tax while I am looking at it on screen. Find myself having to write NOTES regarding pertinent information which is a nuisance! What am I failing to understand? (Using Apple MAC Desktop for my filings.) Did have problem with initial attempts to "print" Returns as that first option to do so kept going to Turbo Tax/Intuit website, would appear as having done so, but then would IMMEDIATELY click off to blank page before I could react! (Other opportunities to Print Returns worked fine without problems)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple and Fast, Barely had to do work My employers were already plugged in with Turbo Tax, so I didn't have to spend an hour inputting my amounts. The broad, general questions they ask at the start of the filing really helped me out. I don't really care for doing taxes, I lead a simple life with simple jobs, and I don't need every last penny I would *technically* earn, I just wanted something easy, and as long as it looks like what I should've earned, I'm happy. This was better than other services I've used before.

While I might not get every dime back because I don't know all the detailed tax strategies, saving the $250 dollars that a tax preparation business charges and keeping my financial business private is worth it.
