Rated 4 out of 5 by from Continuing error in program Turbo-Tax continues to code Railroad Retirement payments shown on Form RRB-1099-R as Code 3, Disability, when correct code is 7, Normal Distribution. There is no box on RRB-1099-R to show the correct code and the program defaults to the lowest available number. The program will not allow an overwrite of the entry.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I already paid for turbotax Why, towards the end, am I asked to pay again? I was given the option to have my 25.00 filing fee deducted from my refund. The requirement was having turbotax premium. I thought I already had that. But now I'm being asked to pay 45.00 more. It looks like I'm being double charged. I opted instead to pay by credit card.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo tax does a very job I really like doing our taxes myself, I think ours are a bit complicated. I use the Home and Office version. My only complaint is getting help when I can't find an answer. IRS help sheets don't address how I am entering information. The help/search window is worthless to me. As a longtime Turbo Tax user who has annual renewal, etc., I am supposed to be able to access a tax professional at any time and I still can't figure out how? When I need help, I NEED Help, and I don't know how to do so!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stephen rectified a big turbo tax error I had filed with turbo tax for 5 or 6 years now and have had pretty good experience, but filing this year almost lost me as a customer. I worked an agent named Neal who I was matched with per Melissa (a turbo tax rep) and Neal had called me to talk about filing, left me a voicemail saying that it was very important that I get him the correct documents and answer all of his questions by Sunday or I have to file an extension (This was on 4/2 so 16 days before the deadline). He said in the voicemail he would call me Sunday and left the voicemail the day prior on Saturday. That same night on Saturday I uploaded the correct documents, answered the correct questions and messaged him back saying everything was done. Sunday came around and no message, call, or email so I message him asking if he received everything and nothing. Monday comes around and same thing, no message, call, or email, so I message him once again asking if he received my documents and nothing. Tuesday comes around and still nothing so I have to take action at this point as we are nearing the deadline and had to get an agent to call Neals manager, who then called Neal to call me back and FINALLY he calls back. Our phone call was not pleasant as he said that "because of new turbo tax protocol that was put in place over the weekend of 4/2-4/3, I have to now file an extension and it was out of his control. I felt like I had wasted 3 days of having anxiety, waiting for an "expert" to call me back only to have him tell me I have to file anyway after urgently asking for documents to be procured by a certain day in which I met his deadline. He said that he was swamped with multiple customers trying to help them but to be "ghosted" for 3 days? You can't leave just 1 message saying to hang on, I'll be right with you, please be patient? Anyway, I asked him for a manager to call me, and after another day goes by with no call I call back again and a nice lady named Camille rectifies everything by putting in good notes, gets a manager to call me back the next morning and the manager sets me up with Stephen who finished my taxes within 48 hours, and they of course gave me a small discount for my time. I am super happy that turbo tax rectified their situation, however, it took ALOT of effort on my end to get this to happen. I hope they strongly consider more training for Neal on communication with their customers. I could care less about an extension and if I have to file an extension then so be it, but 3 days without communicating to their customer? After a rather expressive voicemail that he urgently requested is not professional. Thank you to Camille, Stephen and Neals manager for rectifying this situation. I don't want to give an average rating of 3 stars or less as I believe they helped enough to get it to a 4 star experience.
