As an early professional, my expertise lies in the medical field, so my understanding of federal and state taxes is minimal at best. TurboTax makes filing taxes quick and easy. The free service will cover what you need, in regards to basics, but the upgrades are worth it if your tax return gets complicated. I also appreciate that the upgrades cover me if I need help with an audit in the future and to help protect my identity in the present. I even used their chat-with-live-agent feature and there assistance was quick, efficient and straight forward. You get what you pay for with TurboTax, and they make it incredibly easy! Thanks TurboTax!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from CONFUSING UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS I got all the way through, attempting to file electronically and because my version needed an update, I could not e-file. Your explanation of where to go to get the update was extremely unhelpful. All you had to do was direct people to the "turbotax" logo at the top left. Click on that and click on "check for updates". Unfortunately you neglected to tell people to go to the Turbotax logo at the top left. SO FRUSTRATING!!!
