Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unhappy with services and charges I'm very unhappy with the service Turbo Tax has provided. There was no section throughout this process that told us we would be charged an extra $50 for filing state taxes. We signed up for Deluxe and were fine with paying $60 but then the additional $50 came out of no where. We spent an hour on the phone with a TurboTax expert to have this taken care of and it was not resolved. We were told we'd get a call or email back to clear up this mess and never did. We have been forced to use this service so we can file our taxes on time. We will NOT be using TurboTax next year. You have lost us as customers for good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lots of Room for Improvement It took hours of trying numerous things before I could download and install the updates. Since you would not let me bypass the updates, I was unable to electronically file until after much frustration this problem was resolved. When I tried a direct download of the program to bypass the problem with the CD you kept running me around in circles and trying to direct me to a tax pro. All I wanted to do was put in the license key and download. Support bordered from very poor to nonexistent. The canned messages were not very helpful and it is close to impossible to talk to a human. There is no support for cryptocurrency transactions. Maybe that could be forgiven last year but not by this year. Maybe my two star rating was generous. I might look for an alternative to TurboTax next year..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax was good to use Filing for the first time without a tax preparer. Process was easy to navigate and when I used the professional agents to assist they answered my questions in person and via chat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Could be better The guidance and walkthrough process was excellent - I did not need to utilize expert/live support. However I bookmarked several pages for review, but the links to bookmarked pages did not work. Also, $120+55(state) seems high when compared to a quote for using a locally respected tax filing team, which was $200(fed&st).
