There were many features that made this experience fantastic, but some highlights are: - The TurboTax app for my phone was phenomenal! --It allows Frederick to get ahold of me quickly when something was needed. --It also allowed me to upload documents that were requested / needed better than waiting for me to get to a computer to do it. -Having an expert in the field do the return was a new experience for me and having Frederick be the 1st one I've used for this was such a relief for me: --He made TurboTax Live Full Service Premier become a product I absolutely love, as he was straight forward throughout --Frederick was educating along the way about things on the return as I asked questions throughout so I understood it --Frederick did a great job of pointing out things that would be helpful along the way for this return and future ones. There are so many great things about this experience to share and my hope is this review will help showcase that - and who knows, persuade others to use the product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax works TurboTax has helped me for many years. However, our Federal taxes, with LLC K-1s are getting too challenging for mere mortals. Next year, I may hire an accountant.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Some Fees are ridiculous $40 to have a $25 fee for state filing paid out of your refund? I've complained about this before and was given a lame excuse for the high fee. For as good as Turbo is, these little crazy high fees stuck in it here and there cheapen up the entire image of it. On the good side I noticed you did make dealing with 529 education fund 1099s and 1098s a little easier. Last year and before your questions about them made no sense. I'd enter the amount I took out for a computer which raises my taxes, and it would take half an hour to figure out how to enter the corresponding education expenses I paid for my son. The 529 fund stuff should still be easier to do. Other things I noticed. For a 4-unit rental property we have my taxes actually went down if I lowered the mileage I was claiming. I have around $700 this year in mileage. If I put it at $5 for a what-if test, my taxes GO DOWN! I'm not going to check your math, don't have time, so filing as-is. I found a few other scenarios like that too. odd.
