Rated 2 out of 5 by from Really frustrated Turbo tax would not e-file. No reason except "a glitch. Try again, if it doesn't go through you will have to mail in your returns." Very disappointed. There is nothing complicated about our returns. I wonder if the $25 I paid to efile the state return will be reimbursed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbotax Made This So Easy! I'm 15, filing taxes for my first job. My parents wanted me to figure out how to do this on my own, but instead of freaking out I found Turbotax! They helped me file my taxes and save my money with no added cost. It was really easy and I'm super grateful for the excellent service!

And the background information on any particular entry is readily available, making it easier to understand what information to enter or skip. Being able to readily compare tax summaries across the years I have used TurboTax makes me more confident in the result, too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Deceptive pricing - hidden fees Signed up for the "Self Employed Full Service" package based on the prices listed on the website - $389 + state fee. Carried on through the service, answered all the questions, uploaded all of the necessary documents - same price and package listed. Finally, I am going through the filing process with the expert and surprise - the package is now listed as "TurboTax Online Complex Income Full Service" (which is not even listed on the website) and my price is more than $200 more expensive than the original.
