Rated 1 out of 5 by from I will not be using Turbo Tax again I have used TT for over a decade and continue to use as my information should be updated and available. With changes to your program this year not only was the software much more expensive (178 for "deluxe" and state) but the program was very difficult to use, did NOT transfer any info from last year's returns, provided inaccurate information and then made it nearly impossible for me to save my work and file extensions. In addition as I have a few returns with TT for different people in my household it was EXTREMELY difficult to find the appropriate program even though I had different log in and password info and have it all kept in my records.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fast & Effiecient I did the standard filing with Turbo Tax. I didn't add any extra help or features to my fax filing, as my taxes are quite simple. I appreciate how easy it is to file. However, sometimes I felt overwhelmed by the questions being asked - almost as if they are posed to scare you into upgrading your Turbo Tax package.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hidden fees It's always claimed you'll get free filing but in the fine print it's only for certain forms. Love when my filing fee is basically equal to my refund amount! Thanks turbotax. Also, that $40 fee to have the fee taken out of your refund is absolutely ridiculous. I used to not be able to afford to just pay the fee and my tax refund wasn't even enough to cover it. Free filing should be free, at the very least be up front about costs instead of springing it on users at the very end. It's already frustrating enough that the government charges taxes all year, knows how much we actually owe them, and yet forces us to file them and we kind of have to hope our numbers and their numbers match up. This entire process is a sham.
