Rated 5 out of 5 by from STRESSLESS TAXES.- I used to file in paper, then electronically through the IRS portal but today I decided to go this way to find how friendly filing taxes could be. No need to deal with endless Forms, Schedules and Worksheets. TurboTax is my way to go from now on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is excellent! The expert that helped guide me along filling out the forms was very helpful and knowledgeable. She explained things about what the tax forms were needing and pointed to things on the page that I needed to fill in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax was good (needs minor improvement) It took a bit longer for me to complete the fed and state tax primarily due to confusion on two parts. 1) QR scan method for document uploads needed better instructions. Nothing seemed to happen when I tried it and had to resort to taking photos and attaching to email to then down load as pdf to then upload to TurboT. 2) State tax seemed to have problem with bringing in some of the 1099K information. Had to manually load fields.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from TurboTax continues to be somewhat problematic My experience was made difficult from the beginning because there are two accounts associated with my name. There did not seem to be any way to resolve this. I believe it may also be causing double billing. Was unable to download any information from previous return. This has been the case for several years. It was seemingly impossible to see our Qualified Charitable Donation in the Easy interface. Ended up going into the forms to make the final numbers work. This problem was reminiscent of the multiple years when I had to do the same thing to insure that our NYS retirements were deducted from our NYS income.
