Rated 2 out of 5 by from Easy to use but very misleading for HSAs Overall the format is easy to use and very quick. However like many people I have a health savings account (HSA, form 1099-SA) Its very difficult to determine from any of the branding on the front page, more detailed product pages, or even from the "find my product" tool that I would need the Deluxe version. The tool does not ask if you have an HSA at all, and suggested for me that the free one was applicable. I won't presume any reasons for this. It needs to be fixed in order to provide appropriate clarity ahead of time to the many people who use health savings accounts and make it clear that they need to pay for the Deluxe version.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax Worked My tax situation was unusual this year, and while I wasn't pleased with the end result, TurboTax figured the correct amount of tax that I owed. We even checked with a licensed tax consultant, and they confirmed that our tax liability was on target. So Thanks TurboTax for Working...! ;-D

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the same this year... I've been using TurboTax for 20 years and overall, I've been really happy. However, TurboTax was not the same this year for a variety of reasons: questions in several sections are written for CPA's - not everyday people, in two sections TurboTax would run in a loop and keep referring to old information that was edited and saved new, navigation is not user-friendly. If you want to edit even basic information, you have to go through the entire section just to find one line item which is very time consuming. TurboTax has all my information from last year's tax forms. However, it prompted me several times to add this information and even go back to last year's return and confirm what numbers were provided! This year, I had to fill out a new form which TurboTax had all the required information in my return. It simply didn't have enough horsepower to generate the form itself. All in all, not the same this year which was really disappointing.
