Rated 4 out of 5 by from Estimated tax from last yr ignored Althoguh you know the est tax you calculated last year, you never asked that question whether I paid that in 4 instalments. You also have discouraging tone when I entered that manually. I use TurboTax for many years, sometime I use H&R. One lack of transparency is you do not show the calc details, the specific numbers step by step, of how you arrive at the final number. Calc details are not always easy to understand. Sometimes it is not all clear why you are asking certain questions.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing... I've been using TurboTax for years. This time, my whole tax experience was pretty bad, but the most confusing part was the State tax filing. For some crazy reason, I elected to obtain an actual C/D to help with my filing. I have no idea why I had to call a number for help. What the heck? And then, they sent you to a site that is not helpful at all !!! I will have to rethink the TurboTax (so called Deluxe) version in the future!!
