Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use Switched from TaxAct to Turbo Tax this year because the former has gotten so hard to use. Happy that I did, even though it meant I worked through my taxes twice this year. The prompts and explanations for Turbo Tax were *much* clearer, and when it found any issues it provided a clear explanation of the problem and what was needed to fix it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Feels like forced funneling towards payments I didn't want Deluxe and I don't understand the why for the other charged payment. The fact that the both were just added kind of annoys me, especially since I had been checking the NOT DELUXE option OVER AND OVER the many, many times it was *suggested.* Even more frustratingly, there was no checkout step after adding credit card information as I am used to, so it payed before without reviewed the order. It really isn't intuitive on how to properly navigate the payment stuff the way I wanted to, and I can't help but feel like it was intentional. Maybe it's just me, but this felt like way more of an ordeal than some of the last times I've used TurboTax.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Less time than extimated I dread taxes, but Turbotax has been making filing them easy for years. I am not sure how many years, but at least the last 25. (I skipped the previous year becasue I was in a tornado, got an automatic extension, and used and accountant.) I probably should have used one then too and called it 30 years.

Truly enjoyed moving through the interface of TurboTax - it tells you why it's asking the questions and what your answers will mean for your refund. TT encourages you to think holistically about your self employment world. So many expenses go unnoticed and the categorization TT offers helps me realize that I can be doing better for myself and my work by understanding my deductions.
