Rated 5 out of 5 by from For easy or Complex returns I have used Turbo Tax and Intuit products I think since they launched. I have had people encourage me to use other software and I finally looked at a few apps. but wouldn't change. Nothing compares.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This software needs serious help This is a review of the Mac download of Premier. I used it on a 2020 MacBook Pro with M1 processor (a very fast machine). There were many times when the software would become unresponsive during the normal course of filling out forms, or even switching away from and back to the app. The most painful process I had to go through was adjusting the cost basis for many employee stock transactions. Even though I had all the numbers prepared for entry in one place, I had to individually edit each transaction to adjust the basis, which took several tedious steps and lots of waiting. Another issue I noticed is that the primary "Federal Taxes Due" amount would show up as $0 after opening the tax file, until I went through some step or clicked around a bit to force it to recalculate. Once I went to file, the process failed and required me to download a 250MB update to Turbotax, wait for it to install, and then repeat the filing process. It did not inspire confidence.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to navigate, and use. Great tax assistant! Step for step, has to be the most useful tax assistant being offered. Would recommend to anyone doing their taxes fro their first time! We need less CPAs stealing misadvised filing standards, and more users taking matters into their own hands. Turbo Tax is here to help!
