Rated 1 out of 5 by from Should not force to upgrade I was forced to pay deluxe stating I needed it because I have retirement plan which was not my case and was charged another 40 dollars on top. I would like to get refunded for that. I would qualify for free version but that was not allowed here

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Seriously Problematic Quality Extremely unintuitive interface for those who are self-employeed. The extreme handholding unnecessarily slows down the review process when more information must be entered later. There are too many layers of repeat questions that get in the way. Unfortunately live support was dismal they basically failed to comprehend any issue I had and I literally had to make my own solutions for things, typically by googling what other people did so that we could "trick" the software to behave the correct way. Quite frankly this might be one of the worst pieces of software I've ever used and I've used government systems which are notoriously bad. The UI designers in particular clearly focused on making everything graphically smooth and eye catching but failed to adhere to even the most basic tenets of good UI/UX design. This software is fundamentally broken. It should allow for advanced user access to the forms it generates, it should allow for "Hamburger" menu-esque, hierarchal and lateral topic movement. The "interview" questions really need to be relegated to an interview mode and SHOULD NOT be the main way to navigate imporant components of this software. Self-Employment taxes are extremely complicated and unfortunately the lack of transparency in the UI/UX lead t feelings of uncertainty and anxiety about whether or not any of this has been properly filed. And putting more and more messages that reassure me doesn't help in the slightest. I want to actually see the forms or navigate the important sections of the software without engaging in the tedious interview questions and platitudes repeatedly.
