Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes Federal filing a smooth operation I was quite pleased with filing my federal return, but was disappointed that my state info was not accessible to print in order to mail it. I understand the extra charge for e-filing, but having to delete all of the already prepared information in order to be able to file my federal return just seems a bit mean spirited and not user friendly.

I like they give the option to have a CPA help or even do your taxes altogether, and will utilize those innovative features years ahead.

The explanations along the way, the very awesome easy interface, and having the option to view the questions with the answers was really really really nice. Thank you Turbo Tax!

But requiring 40$ BAD Most of my turbotax experience is great, but it is extremely frustrating to get to the end step and see that not only do they charge for Premier (Which is fine) but then they charge $40 to deduct from your return instead of using a credit card!! It was in fine print and felt extremely underhanded!

Had questions regarding 1099-B and person on chat tried to help as well as computershare but the best help I received was a person I talked with from Turbo Tax support. Her name was Michelle and she explained some new items and how they work in Turbo Tax as well as patiently answering all of my questions. She's a gem - great at putting ppl at ease and walking thru items as needed. Thanks Michelle

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Buggy - almost missed some important information Didn’t catch the fact that I hadn’t entered a state for my state estimated payments, and if I hadn’t noticed that, would have lost me several hundred dollars. That’s an easy verification to make, and should be logged as a defect. Luckily I realized something wasn’t right, and when I went back I noticed the (easy) mistake. Really hope you fix this usability bug. For estimated taxes in general, I had to manually go find out whether they had been included, turns out they hadn’t. Even though TurboTax last year created estimated payment forms for me! Come on, that’s the kind of thing you should be on top of! Overall, got dizzy going round and round answering the same questions in some of the sections. An annoying experience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wish I could buy at a retailer to apply online TT keeps getting better but the price for the retail CD is better. I would like to be able to buy or apply the purchase of the physical copy from a retailer and use the license code for the online version.
