Rated 2 out of 5 by from TT has been great. Disappointed this yr. Chat was 5 min one time. I waited 15min. Still no live chat agent. 2nd time, live agent it said 6 min wait time. I waited around 15min. Still nothing. Tried a different day, wait time was 22 min. Waiting about that and nothing. After the 3rd try on a different day, I just gave up. I was going to have a professional look over my taxes and call me like I did last year. But I honestly was so unimpressed with the lack of access and wait times on TT live chat, I just skipped it. Paid for it for a reason and was fed up. And I'm patient. I get it. I get busy times as a small business owner. Time is precious these days tho. Waiting almost an hour total to try to live chat someone.....not good, when you pay the extra money for that service. Busier times, staff needs to be increased. I paid for extra everything and didn't even get a person. I figured if live chat took that long, what was the point of calling. I also paid extra for the MAX and I don't remember it disclosing anywhere that a 3rd party would need all of my personal info for my identity protection. I musta missed it or it wasn't listed. I didn't feel comfortable at the end having that info sent to a 3rd party company that included EVERYTHING about me. I've honest LOVED TT. This year, was the 1st year I had a hard time getting ahold of professional tax help. And I always do my taxes in the last week before they are due for extension. So I'm always doing it during the busy crunch time when I'm sure it's busier. This year, I wasn't happy. I paid extra for help. I paid extra for protection but it wasn't disclosed upon that that i'd have to consent to giving my personal info. Like I said. So when I said I wouldn't consent, I still pay for it tho, even tho I didn't consent to that personal info being transferred.
