Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Besides being easy to use it is also cheaper than having my taxes done be a professional tax service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots of wasted time I go through all the steps to claim the Other Dependent Credit, everything as it worked last year, only to be told "<x> doesn't qualify for the credit". 2+ hours later, after investigating everything line by line, comparing to last year's return, I find out the credit only applies if I owe more than $0 taxes. Why not just tell me the reason you just used to determine that the credit doesn't qualify and save me all that work? So unfriendly. And now, looking below at all the data analytics you want to collect before I submit this review, I'm more annoyed. I'm doing you a favor by writing the review, but it's not enough.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well No issues in using the software. Save functionality has issues and had me re-do a few sections over and over. The Annualized income part was tricky to get into and trouble to get out of. Good solid product to work with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax takes the stress and guesswork out! No guessing doing things myself, well worth the money to let the experts handle it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Annoying way of adding extra fees I use Turbotax because it is easy, however, I shouldn't have to pay extra money for someone who claims "it's free to file." TurboTax always manages to "upgrade" me to a program I didn't ask for and then charge me for it. Paying a machine to file my taxes when the IRS knows exactly how much my return will be is ridiculous. Next year, I will be sending my taxes in on paper to avoid the stupid extra charges.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from More information ? I've finished my taxes. I start to efile. Then the TurboTax software comes up with "There is some more information we need". If that's the case why wasn't I asked for the information in the first place? I went round and round on this. Finally I figured out the name of the estate was too long. Too long? Why was I able to enter it in the first place? I should have received an error message once the field was full. Everything worked out in the end, but the software should have caught that in the first place.
