However, TurboTax does not remember that I am retired and receiving Social Security even though I have been receiving SS and using TT for many years. I nearly missed important deductions and reporting income!!! You remember each year what I did the year before but not this. It is an easy software fix. I know as I spent a career in software development. Please check into this. Thank you.

This was the best experience I’ve ever had getting this worrisome task completed and I am 70 years old and filing my own taxes for many years.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from MORE THAN 1 STATE TOUGH! I have used TurboTax over the years and been very satisfied. This year, I tried to create the dumpy return through downloading the software to do two state (MD,VA) returns. The directions don't say PAY and then download. I finally figured that out! I used my credit card for that $50 and then again when I e-filed the federal for a grand total of $205!!! I hope someone KNOWS how to credit or not charge me for state taxes that I did NOT e-file.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Happy It was easy to follow and pop-ups help with any questions. I purchased extra help so that I get a CPA help at the end for review and filing. This was optional and you do not have to pay for this tier to file. I am happy overall. Pricing could be better, it is a little steep just to pay what I owe to IRS.
