When filing I had to say what portion of income was made while living in each state. The suggested figures did not seem to come from anywhere so I chatted with a product expert who told me I needed to upgrade (pay more money) to speak with a tax specialist. This was not the case, the issue was a miscalculation by the product, not a more complicated tax issue.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from poor experience Due to my CPA Turbo tax should let customer choose their CPA based on customer feedback, rather than randomly assigning any CPA to customer. This time my experience with turbo tax was very poor. Service was very expensive compared to last year and I got very poor service this time from my Turbo tax CPA. CPA was not responsive on messages and problem is, there is no other way to reach my CPA.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from UNSURE I had trouble loading Turbo Tax Premier to my computer I did call for help. He was very helpful but couldnt figure it out either case # 472743215. He gave me a code to put in nat the end for no charge. It says it was excepted but I still had to submit my credit card information. Service code WVXKLBW99CHB47 If the code works I would change my rating to 5 stars.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from There are issues I NEED to be able to download to a directory or drive of MY CHOICE. Turbotax loads to the c: drive. There are NO options to select another drive, either an inherent drive or a thumb/SD/Portable drive. In order to load from the CD I HAD to wipe out a lot of programs on my computer that ALSO have to run on the main drive as outlined above. You need to state this on the packaging. Your program is ID protected so this should be enough to prevent copy theft violations instead of causing problems for you users. On the good side: I used Jackson Hewitt for years. Ran me about $600 a year and I still had to do my own information entry and decision making. At least you guys explain things as they present themselves. AND, I use "AdBlocker" and just found out I couldn't submit this without turning it off. So you might consider adding that as a warning before writing a review. (I also do technical writing.)
