Rated 3 out of 5 by from turbo tax is a mixed bag Second year I used turbo tax. Last year I was blown away by how helpful the specialists were, this year not so much. I had to call several times because I encountered folks who didn't have much of a clue. Also, some of the specialists asked me a lot of information to share my screen, while others just sent me a request. Really patchy specialist help.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be better The only time there is a clear breakdown of what you will be charged is at the end and that's where they tack on a bunch of stupid service fees. Additionally you give me options to pay my state taxes out of my bank but then make me change it to a paper check at the end.

Although, I must admit I am a returning customer and I have had issues in the past, which were resolved without too much fuss. This year's experience is as most have been in the past. It walked me through the "Tax" process with ease. In less than 1 hour my 2020 Taxes..., done!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible experience this year Multiple different things were adjusted without me doing anything, it kept telling me to fill out a 1099NEC but I did not have one this year, as in I did work do any work for that employer. The form/line was not under income but it would not let me file because I said I needed to enter that info. Also when I first started the years were incorrect, everything was 2018/2019 instead of 2019/2020. The software seems to be very buggy, very interesting that all these issues came up this year when you guys were pushing the "live help" upgrade so hard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax was ACTUALLY easy AND FREE. While I did a simple W2 return, it was actually very easy. The only issue/question I had was around AGI and gross income for my spouse but once I got his 1040, I was able to easily plug and play.
