I don't want to reveal a lot of personal info here, but for an old-timer with aught but social security and a pitiful pension and no spouse, TurboTax is a whiz-bang for filing taxes. Just keep your records up-to-date through the year and you will probably be able to do your chore in a couple of hours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Generally a quick process Overall it worked out fine I did have a bit of trouble deciphering the income section. It wasn't as straight forward as I remembered last year. However, once I made the appropriate entries; everything fell into place.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Deluxe Stop forcing me to pay for Deluxe at the end after you see how big my refund is and you want me to pay for federal, state, and the $40 refund fee. In the future I will use a human tax preparer instead of turbo tax.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TTax is OK - but don't look for any help from them I have used TTax fro a number of years. I have found it pretty good, but not perfect. And it is really hard to get support. There is no one who will talk you through a problem. So it's all on you to figure out some of the cryptic instructions and descriptions or to correct errors. Good luck! PS - I hate it when they require you to give personal info in order to post a review - AHG!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbotax is a keeper Smooth sailing as always for the last 6 year or more. However, there was a short Glitch at the end, when signing up for MAX, this disclosure consent form. Really has problems recognizing my name (Frustrating) Everything came to full stop, so close to filing returns. So glad it corrected itself an hour later and recognized my name.
