Rated 1 out of 5 by from Drastically gone down hill I've used turbo tax for over YEARS to do my taxes.. this is the MOST i've had to pay to e-file EVER, Federal used to be fully FREE, now it costs $90 and an additional 80 to fully file) This is the last year I'll be using this site, you guys lost me. free doesn't = $170 the most I've EVER had to pay was an additional 50-60. and even my end total was short a good $300 I better get the actual return or I WILL be coming after you guys.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty straight forward I like the easy question/answer approach to getting started. It helps to move things along pretty easily. I had some unusual circumstances, so I had to use the search feature to find the sections I needed, but it worked out in the end. Only 4 stars because I hate the upselling pitches & I had to pay an extra $30 to upgrade from Deluxe to Premium because I sold stocks last year. ($200 worth of gains & I had to pay $30 upgrade here to pay the $30 in taxes... Sad/Dumb/Annoying...)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have been using Turbo tax for 7 years pleased My experience has always been wonderful. So easy to follow. instructions so clear and understanding is great. I spoke to expert live and got all the answers I need with no problem. An Expert for sure.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Experience Ever I will not be using TurboTax after 8 years of using the service. The auto populate for wash sale on the filing is a disaster. The system will not let you put the correct number in on a figure which the system thinks is wrong., therefore forced you to pay prior to even knowing you know are forced to send in a mail in only copy. The self help doesn't address this issue., and only option was to pay even more to speak to someone on such a easy self-induced poor software glitch. Next year I will move to H&R block as none of my friends had this issue and all play stocks w/ similar income levels.
