Rated 2 out of 5 by from Effective but still a ripoff TurboTax does exactly what it claims to do and allows you to file your taxes in about an hour. However, the constant bait and switch between the differing versions of the software is immensely frustrating. This year was the last straw. I'm done with this company and this service. I'll either find a service that's less malignant than TurboTax or do it by myself.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax is way to expensive Turbo Tax is to pricey for an individual doing their own taxes. I payed 125.00, no reason why it should be that high when I'm doing my own taxes. I've been doing my taxes with turbotax for the last 7 years. Change your prices or else you will lose a customer. The prices are ridiculous!

Turbo Tax will guide you every step of the way, or you can choose which categories you want to work on. The second option works well as you become familiar with the process.
