Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beats paying someone else to do it for you I love it how it's always insanely difficult to do literally anything on this website. The options they give you do not apply to anything pertaining to your file status (previously filed 1040's that you never filed/received). The deceitful IRS ID thing pops up right as you are trying to file, tricking you into submitting bio-metric info only to find out it was completely irrelevant. Not to mention not being able to actually submit deductibles pertaining to work expenses. Its a free service that bombards you with incompetence until you break down to pay for a basic service that is legally required. It beats paying someone else to file your taxes, but the way they push live help makes me think they just need to justify a service that doesn't need to exist.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Makes Taxes Easy Turbo Tax simplifies preparing your tax return. Turbo Tax double checks everything. It would be nice if it didn't time out so quickly. Often I was confirming information online and I would get closed out of the application and have to sign back in. It didn't really take that long but I double check a lot.
