The program would not import last years PDF file and as a result I had to waste significant time entering information. I contacted your support staff and they had no answer. Very frustrating. I hope this never happens again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Multiple issues and errors with TurboTax I am long time TurboTax user (over a decade). Most years TurboTax works very well. However, this year was a significant challenge. The first error I encountered was TurboTax duplicating my W2. The first time it duplicated my W2, it doubled all of my income and tax data. The second time it duplicated my W2, it was blank, which created multiple errors during the review stage. I had to manually delete the extra W2 created by TurboTax. The second issue I encountered was related to importing 1099-DIV and 1099-B data. TurboTax created many, many 1099 worksheets, which had an error on them because a certain box could not be zero. I found some information on this issue here: https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/taxes/discussion/1099-b-worksheet-at-line-sale-includes-a-disallowed-wash-sale-loss-code-w-amount-leave-blank-if-all/00/1919553 Since the amount of time needed to edit the import data or to delete all the worksheets was going to be substantial, I deleted the import and typed in the 1099-DIV and 1099-B data manually. In the process of dealing with all of this, which included a call to customer support, I had to clear and restart my return twice. I will likely continue to use TurboTax, but what should have taken may be 30 minutes, took many hours over several days.
