Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax was very troublesome this year TT started this year on the wrong page which was very confusing. The usual summaries of last years numbers did not show up till much later if at all. We moved to a different state this year and the state directions and information was lacking and confusing, for both new and old states. What does the use of "as of (date)" in the retirement SSA exemption section really mean? "As of" that specific date we did retire, or we retired after that date, or that we were had already retired before that date? When it came time to pay, instructions for paying for use of TT were clear, paying for Fed. Tx was relatively clear, but when it came to state payments we kept being led around the barn back to Fed payment again. Only after multiple tries, and entering our payment method over and over again (hopefully we don't get multiple charges for the same amount!!) it finally opened the state page. Then at the end, when it says review forms, file, and print, there was no place to print -- maybe that comes AFTER I complete this review??? It's all more confusing than ever, and doing a search on a few questions we had led to a real answer for only one, was of no help on others. Also, when you need to go back for any reason, many of the check marks and entries that had been made need to be done again! That is not a new problem; I've complained about this several times before!
