I had a horrible time with the program telling me to enter a 1098 form that, as it turns out, I didn’t get for the first time in years from my CCU. The amount of mortgage int. had gone down below $600. They no longer need to send out or print 1098s. I didn’t know that. I had always filed with one (above $600, apparently) so when it simply asked if I got mortgage interest, I must’ve clicked “yes” and the die was cast. The program would not let me finish my taxes without one and there was no way or where to get rid of the original “yes”. I finally got frustrated enough and found the “Live Help” towards the end of program (after the State tax section.). I clicked on “get a call” and THANK GOD I DID! Marva came on and together we went thru the program entries. Round and round we went and could not find where to uncheck that “yes” box. Finally, we ended up going to “Tools” and deleted the form which was causing the problem. Then it was fine and everything went thru right as rain. What a relief! Thank you, Marva!! Marva for president!!! What a gem! (I think she deserves a promotion and a raise for her fine work. How about it, TT/Intuit? And, “no, I’ve never met her before this. She’s in VA and I’m in WI, for one. She helped me so well when I needed it and I really, really appreciate her calm, cool demeanor. I was just going nuts trying to get rid of that 1098 requirement and it just wouldn’t budge. It was Migraine time a-coming until I got to talking with her. Thank you, again, Marva. Keep up the good work!)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Several Steps It feels like every year there are many new steps that are added. They seem to be a bit confusing and repetitive. I had to ask for assistance to make sure that I was doing it right. On the bright side the helpers are amazing and knowledgeable at what they do.
