Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbotax charged me more than what I owe in tax Turbotax is always advertised as being able to file for free, I didn't have a complicated tax file, just W-2 and interest forms from my bank account. I was charged $130 to file federal and state thinking I was paying for my federal tax, I didn't realize I was paying for their "service" until it was too late. If you have simple taxes don't let them upsell you for stuff you don't need, or you will be paying more for TurboTax than what you owe. I doubt I will be using TurboTax agian,

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unimpressed With the "Live Experts" I ended up paying for the Live Expert help package. All I received was an annoyed individual who simply re-clicked and asked if everything was correct. What I needed was an expert who could look into my files and ensure the correct information was being recorded in my tax return. Instead, they rushed through the error messages and told me to re-read the text as if I hadn't already done that. To top it all off, the "Expert" started ignoring my questions towards the end and kept asking for a review when I still had further questions regarding my taxes. I strongly advise against paying for any kind of "Live Expert" future to any individuals who are deciding to file their taxes with TurboTax this year as I deeply regret paying over $200 to have someone simply say re-read things.
