Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to fill out and affordable I've always been afraid to use TurboTax because I thought it would be too hard for me. I took a chance because I was tired of paying a popular chain tax preparation company to do mine for me. I'm happy I did. I feel confident and I was even able to chat with a professional to assure myself that I did something right.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just Fine The process was easy but I seriously did not appreciate being backed into paying $200 dollars when I thought it would be free to use. It made sure there was no way for me to finish filing without paying and wouldn't let me go back. I couldn't file for free though I have no idea why. TurboTax be more transparent before you force people into paying for your product if you offer it for "free."

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Prechecks needed After back and forth on fixing issues, it was a realization that my Intuit account information was outdated. I was not aware and answered all questions as honest and correct as possible, though was defaulted to some selections such as still being married even though I filed as Single. Inform customers that Single and Divorced are two separate things even after years down the road. Please insert Re-verification of Intuit account information prior to processing tax returns so as to not file incorrectly. All of this was customer error.
