Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unexpected Bug There was bug in the program where I could not manually edit my deductions. Instead of the proper screen appearing, there was only a blank screen. I eventually found reference to a reported problem and I waited until the 2nd week of February before I could finish doing my return. Calling the help line only confirmed what I had read about this known fault.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax is Super Easy At first I thought I (an 18 yr old), wouldn't be able to do my taxes by myself, and online. However I was pleasantly suprised at how easy it was to do. TurboTax really is super easy!

TurboTax said it was a glitch in their software because I went through all my info to file again and didn't have to change anything but I did get a little more back than the previous time filing. Last year I paid $40 to have the fees paid through my return. Then turbo tax ended up taking the fees owed out of my bank account before I received my return. IRS was slow last year I know but when I did receive my return TurboTax did not reinburst the money they already took. I paid for a service I didn't use! Also, they advertise free state filing but was charged $40 for that as well and no my taxes is simple and didn't need any extra form to file state.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo, make it make sense! Ok for starters. I thought I would try and do my taxes myself this time...epic fail! Turbo started off good and was fairly easy to use, until I got to the end to submit, aka transmit my form. That was days ago! Everyday since I have been getting notifications informing me that my return has been rejected. It's a bit fustrating because I read everything before submitting and saw that once you submit, all the checks would have been checked by the tax professionals. Annoying!
