Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but not foolproof, more to be desired! I have used TurboTax over the past many years and feel it's a great tool. This year, however, I noticed multiple discrepancies in my state return data which should've been just pulled from the federal return. Then I found a turbotax data corruption documented on the same topic in the community forum as well. Unfortunately, there was neither any information provided nor any support to resolve this known issue unless one's subscribed for the live assistance. Very disappointing!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from For simple tax returns Turbo Tax is expensive It is quick and easy but annoying - always trying to get you to upgrade. After I say "no" 2Xs get the hint - NO. Also, for simple tax returns (no schedules to speak of) it costs a lot. Looking to do it myself next year ... $140 to file federal and state for nothing more than a 1040 - that is expensive.
