Rated 3 out of 5 by from This year TurboTax made my taxes more difficult. I've used Turbo Tax for 9 years now. This year it was more difficult than any of these prior times. I'm not sure why but that was disappointing. I sold stocks which I've done before and they never asked for the amount of information as they did this year. I was able to call my stock provider and get all of the information but I had to wait over the weekend to do it. Oh well. It's done now. Who will I use for my taxes next year? We'll see.

I thought I might miss a thing here or there on credits that I could get, if I weren't to work with a highly expensive CPA. However, I know for a fact that TurboTax caught things that my previous CPA either overlooked or didn't have the time for.

The main activity is answering yes/no questions, which directs TurboTax to the things that pertain to you specifically. File with them one year and the basic info is saved for future years. I've used one form of TurboTax or another for many many years. I highly recommend this...
