Rated 2 out of 5 by from Never Free You always advertise free, but almost never are. I did not even use employer insurance this year and still had to pay. I file taxes for two other people and they also have to pay for this free service. Then to charge an extra $40 this year to pay your fees out of our federal return is pitiful. I have been with turbotax for seven years and I just might look elsewhere next year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax makes it so easy to do taxes! I have been using TurboTax for years and it really makes everything easier to be able to transfer last year's information automatically. The also have great resources for changes to the tax laws.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Much easier than doing it on paper Very comprehensive questions. Screens are easy to read. Only a few of the questions required me to do some research. Downsides - they hit you for an extra fee that is excessive if you pay the preparation fees from your refund. Pay it any other way you can. Also, watch for the system to create extra lines if you import W-2 and 1099 info.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It was fine till I realized I had filed to early. Everything was smooth, and I had believed I had filed on the 10th. Its now the 20th and there was no message to me saying I needed to fully file again. So you can imagine my suprise that I had to finalize it all over again. Technology is supposed to make things easier, not more complicated.
