Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stress Free! The process was easy and questions asked were easy to understand. I liked the pop up explanations and videos that explained some of the items in more detail. I had been regretting doing my taxes but was pleasantly surprised afterwards with the ease of it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Foreign Tax Credit Form 1116 Everything was going well until TurboTax told me I needed the Foreign Tax Credit Form 1116 and it wasn't available. According to TurboTax, the IRS was still developing the form and it wasn't available for TurboTax. This is a blatant lie, as the form is available on the IRS website, so I was not waiting on the IRS to develop the form. I found through some forums a webpage with estimated days on when each form would be ready and found Form 1116 would be ready 2/17, so I waited to file. Then 2/17 came and went and saw the website was updated to say 2/24. That came and went and now the website says the e-file form for Form 1116 will never be ready for e-file this year. Not sure how a website solely dedicated to filling out tax forms cannot fill out a tax form. I later found out I didn't even need the form because my foreign tax credit was less than $600, something TurboTax did not mention when it told me to wait two weeks to file.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Problems ever I have used TurboTax for about 3 years and have had a good experience everytime. I highly recommend. My situation changed alot over the prior year and so it was a little more work but Turbo Tax triple checked everything and I'm unexpectedly getting money back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super easy to use - but fix the looping issue! TurboTax has been my go-to for self-filing. Rarely had any issues and their UI flows great. The only issue for 2021 was the investment-looping issue which was unresolved after 3 weeks! It is incredibly frustrating to see an issue that is essentially blocking users from filing take so long to correct. I eventually deleted my investment info and reloaded it directly from the brokerage and was able to bypass the problem and get filed. TurboTax needs to fix this ASAP!
