I have a love/hate relationship with numbers and, until I started using TurboTax when it was first available in the late 80s, I absolutely hated doing taxes. These days, I won't say it's a breeze, but TurboTax makes it close. I actually look forward to doing my taxes. Wouldn't it be easier to just pay someone else to do them? For me, No. I want to stay financially aware and in control. Even if I end up owing (which I usually don't), I at least have the peace of mind that I did not miss anything or make any stupid mistakes. A big plus is the financial guidance and resources Intuit makes available throughout the year.
