Rated 2 out of 5 by from last minute notice 2021 e-file not available I entered my tax info and after it checked it, it came up that the TurboTax had closed the e-file window for 2021 on Oct. 17,2022. I had filed the extension for that date. I live in Florida and Hurricane IAN was a declared disaster area, which the IRS granted an extension to Feb. 15, 2023 - TODAY. I called customer service and finally spoke to a human. She said if that's what the screen says, TurboTax will NOT file - even with upgrading product. I'm elderly and in bad health, so you have left me in a big jam. I'll think about whether I will use Turbo Tax next year.....

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is Moderate I did not want to pay for the extra features, and I had clicked no to the upgrade and at the end of my filing it made me pay $128 for a service I did not know I was using. I was unhappy because I was not putting this amount on my credit card, so it was forced to come out of my refund. No where in the beginning of the process did it tell me that I wouldn't be able to file my taxes without paying this amount. I am thankful that the overall process was easy but I did not like that I was forced to pay for a service I denied multiple times. I did not have any issues the previous year and only found out that the terms could change at the very end of the process.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Satisfied I opted for the free filing and was still able to get help from a live person and help from there catalog of resources on different topics. Because I'm military, my State taxes were also free.
